Work and Travel (WAT) USA Interview

Wake up in the early morning to follow my sister to office...
Doing nothing in the office until my sis ask me to help stick something on the brochure for the coming road show at USM...

about 1030am,
we depart to the ParkRoyal hotel...
when i reach there, there are a lot of WAT participant from Speedwing...
they have done their interview...

after helping my sis to set up the booth,
i'm going to meet eddy n bih guok to have our lunch...
we having our lunch at SubWay...
this is the first time i'm having meal at SubWay...
I order the meal no.6 (SubWay Melt)
n my darling order set no.2 (Italian B.M.T)
while for the bread we choose xxx oregano n another one also forget d...
xxx oregano is nicer...

After briefing from Yeen from Out of the Box,
it's followed by ciee person in charge n some video presentation...
Student who r going to Chatham Bar Inn is the 1st group went in for the interview...
I'm one of it... ^^

During the interview,
we are required to introduce our name n hobby only...
then some Q&A for anything we want to know more abt CBI...
very sadly that the position left for us to grab is
one for hostess (USD10 per hour without tip)....
n 6 or 7 places for runner (USD 5.25 per hour with tip)...
so eddy, bih guok n me get the runner...
quite sad... T.T
the job of runner really depend on the weather...
if it's raining day,
we need to go back home n did not get any income...

Other position that have higher paid is grab by other agent student...
(at first students from OOTB is the one having interview for morning session, but dunno y finally change to other agent student... T.T)

After the interview, i complained to my sis...
wuhuhu... sad sad...

After that,
we have chat with Liggy, student that went to CBI for last summer...
after chatting, feel a bit relieve coz she said the tips can reach USD1000++ for 2 weeks period at the peak time...
that means our paid will be higher than other position...
we get a lot of useful information from her...
thanks Liggy...

Yu Lim's Birthday Celebration

Went to have some relax after having 2 tests this week...
We are going to celebrate Birthday of Yu lim n Choo at Red Box Jusco Tebrau...
But due to some reason, the birthday boy-Choo is not able to attend the celebration...
This is the 2nd time i'm going for K....
i'm going to have my lunch only ^^...
darling n me while waiting for other to reach there...

The fried fish is nice but not the curry n the rice...
While my darling order the set1 : chicken chop...

Then started to pack my thing n prepare to off to KL at 4.30pm...
Due to darling stomach not feeling well...
We start the journey at 5...

It's Valentine's Day

This year valentine also having test... @@
so, did not go any special place to celebrate...
Going to have a valentine's dinner at Mama Chops Papa Grill Grill near UTM...

Darling with his mix grill of salmon, lamb n chicken chop...

























while i'm v the grill beef, lamb n chicken chop...
but i'm not manage to finish the dish... too big portion...
finally is him to settle all... ^^

























this year i suggested that no instant valentine's gift (means buy from shop 1)...
so we D.I.Y the card for each other... ^^

CNY Day 4

Waiting for my darling reach my house for lunch...
hehe...

After having our lunch,
we rest awhile then went to my secondary fren (Amir Akmal) wedding...

CNY Day 3

Went to my 2nd sis house to 'bai nian' after having lunch...
hehe..
After that acc parent to big aunt house even though dun feel like going there...
it's bcoz of the sunny day make me headache... T.T
back home rest after that...
after that my parents went to relative's house at simpang bekoh...
but i din follow because i have an outing with all 88s at 530pm...
we are going to Portuguese Settlement to have our seafood dinner...

We reach there about 7pm...
We planned to have our dinner at the No.1 Restaurant...
The seat there already full...
we have to wait by standing beside the table which already done soon...
but unfortunately an aunty cut our queue by ordering at the counter 1st...

So, we change to have our dinner at restaurant No.7...
We start to order our food...
While for the drink, we order from a stall nearby...

So we went to MBO at Melaka Mall...
It's the best place to buy the last minute ticket bcoz less crowd compare with GSC at Dataran Pahlawan and Lotus 5 Star at Mahkota Parade...
We watched the Homecoming...
Rating : Average... ^^

Then back to Selandar...
We gather at Yin Shean's house for gambling... Haha...
Before going back home...
We light up a 'Kong Ming Teng'...
























End the day at 3.30am...

CNY Day 2

Today we are having steambot as our lunch...
my mum prepare tomyam soup... YUM YUM...

while i'm helping washing the ingredient...

Waiting 2nd sister for reunion dinner...
Hehe...
This is the 1st year she back to 'niang jia' after marriage...

While waiting for mum prepare dinner...
i take all the eggs in the kitchen to the living room...
then we start our mission to make all the eggs standing on the floor...
today is the day where earth experience the strongest gravity...
or in the Chinese calender call 'li chun'...
so the egg can stand easily....

at first we try it on the tile...
we try to find the smooth surface to stand the eggs...
only few eggs can stand...
this is due to the surface of the tile not even...





































After that we change to the semen corridor which have even surface...
my bro in law is trying to stand the eggs...

CNY Day 1

wake up in the morning...
the 1st thing to do is... TAKE ANG PAU...
Wahahaha...
For sure need to brush before that... hehe...

After having my lunch, put on my new cloth....

























then i'm going out to 'bai nian' with my primary fren...
went to 4 or 5 houses then back to house to take my dinner...

CNY eve

Finally it's new year eve...
Every year my mum will prepare a lot of dish...
like braised pork with sea cucumber, steam chic, steam fish, a soup either 'zhu du' with 'yui piao' soup or shark fin soup, roast pork and duck (these 2 are bought 1 ^^) and many many more...
waiting for the reunion dinner at night time...
but at last only 5 people join the dinner...
it's due to younger sis and bro still working...
they will back around 10+...

after dinner,
we start to prepare the pray pray thing as usual...
a basket of candy, a pair of fish shape cake, a basket of fruit, etc...
we started the praying at 11pm and wait until 12 plus and burned the kim zua...

Flood at my Hometown

did not upadate my blog for long time coz i back hometown for CNY...

it has ben raining for almost 36+ hours...
the weather here is super cool...

about evening time, river at town already start to flood...
luckily my house is located at higher place...
so we dun need to worry much...

the sky still did not show any sign to stop crying...
abt 10pm, the flood become worst d...
my mum, dad, elder sis and me going out to view it...
we stand at higher place...
the wet market and the shop around being soak in the mud water...























































Some ppl try to cross the flood area to get back home...




















there are some car trying to cross the road...




















but some fail to do so...
finally get stuck in the middle of the water...




















Conclusion is dun try to cross the flood if ur car is family car...
