The 1st trip to Singapore

this is the first time I'm went to Singapore...
i'm ad study at UTM for abt 4 years but never step in there...
it just take about half an hour to go there... hehe...

after having my TECS test...
tzi hang, darling n me drive to the city square there...
we park our car at the Metro Parking in the KotaRaya Building...
it's quite difficult to locate the parking entrance because there are many different Metro Parking entrance in the same building...
It's the cheapest parking rate can be found in this area...
It's only cost us for RM2.50 for whole day parking during weekend... ^^
U can recognize the entrance easily because other entrance is drive upward, while this is the only entrance that drive downward....
You have to take the U turn abt 300 degree from the traffic light after the hindu temple...

then we walk to the "kastam"...
the purpose i went to Singapore is to visit the job fair at the Suntec City...
But there is only 1 engineering company to apply... zzZZZ

After visiting the fair,
we stop by the Garret Popcorn Shop to buy some Popcorn...
it's recommended by one of my friend...
the small pack cost abt SGD 6 to 8...
We order the small Chicago mix if not mistaken...

while this is the popcorn....
it is mix of cheese popcorn n the caramel popcorn....
the yellow 1 is cheese flavor, while the brown 1 is caramel...
every single popcorn is completely cover with the cheese or caramel...




















i dun like the cheese 1 because it is flaccid and quite weird that popcorn is taste salty... hehe
but i'm super like the caramel 1... sweet in taste...
(even after i'm back to utm, the popcorn still very crunchy ^^)
next time if i have go there again, definitely i'll buy the caramel 1...

After that, we went to chinatown to have our dinner...
First, we plan to have our dinner at the food stall along the street...
but only end up trying the glutinous ball with the peanut soup...
Nice try... Yum Yum...

In a single bowl, there are 5 different flavor of the glutinous ball...
yam, green tea, black sesame, peanut and red bean... not sure for the last 1...
can u see the peanut in the soup... ^^



















then change our plan to have our dinner at Tak Po...
which this restaurant is famous for their frog (田鸡)...




















Four of us order 3 frogs...
Which is buy 2 free 1... ^^
each frog is cost SGD8...
this is Gong Pao Frog...
a "little" bit spicy coz they use "chili padi" to cook it...



















while this is the onion & ginger frog...




















both dish also nice...
but i'm prefer the 2nd 1... ^^

u can order rice or plain porridge to serve with this dish...
the porridge is well crumble... nice...




















while they also serve different flavor porridge such as fish porridge shown below..
nothing special about this porridge... normal...
